Another Break? If you insist!

Fresh back from a second trip to Taiwan, yet another school break looms.  In a week, it will be Easter break, which means a week and a day away away from school.  Except this time, it really is a week away from school in the full sense, as I won't have to be looking after students during the week.

The past week has been one of adventure sharing, as students and staff alike were eager to find out about some of the other experience week trips.  My students were a little rowdy at the start of the week due to having to settle back into the normal school routine.  But soon enough we were right back to it with a new unit in science and a test that all the students were unnecessarily panicked about.

So I have no idea what happened to the second half of my post.  Anyways though, with the end of another 2 weeks of school, we're right back at it with another trip.  The upcoming trip is to the Pehrentian islands in Malaysia.  A small group of us are heading down to the Pehrentian islands for a scuba diving trip.  We're planning on obtaining our open water diving certification and then checking out Kuala Lumpur on the way back at the end of the week.  Stay tuned, I might post some pictures while on the trip.

Here We Go Again

Hi Everybody,

Just a super quick update from me this time.  I'm just about ready to head out on my second trip to Taiwan this month.  This time, I'll have 65 students in tow.  I suppose this should be considered the first real exploration trip I'll have of Taiwan, as the last one allowed for very limited sightseeing.  You can follow the adventures of Taiwan trip #2 at:

http://blog.travelpod.com/members/tis

(You'll have to find the Gr. 7 Taiwan experience week trip from the large list of travel blogs on the page.  As you can see, some other experience week trips are already underway and there quite a lot of neat travels the students at the school get to be a part of).

Things have been quite uneventful since coming back from my previous trip from Taiwan.  I must say though I do enjoy these breaks from routine once every 3 weeks ever since I got back from Christmas break.  Well I'm going to stop rambling now as I did promise a short entry.  I'll fill you in on the adventures when I get back.
